Vietnamese and Chinese children show off their drawing skills on conical hats

On the Chinese side, 26 children from Primary School No. 4, Pingxiang City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China came to Vietnam to attend the program.

Mr. Doan Thanh Cong, Deputy Secretary in charge of Lang Son Provincial Youth Union, said: The program aims to strengthen solidarity and friendship between children of the two border provinces of Lang Son (Vietnam) and Guangxi (China), creating a healthy and useful playground for children to have the opportunity to exchange and learn about the culture, traditions, and customs of both sides.

In the "Pink Scarf of Friendship" exchange program, the delegation of children from Pingxiang, Zhuang Autonomous Region (in Guangxi, China) visited the Lang Son Provincial Museum, experienced making ceramics, painting Vietnamese conical hats; participated in special cultural exchanges, introduced the country, people, cultural traditions of the nation and the friendship between Vietnam and China through art performances, bamboo dances and campfire fun.

Mai Ngoc, a student at Hoang Van Thu Secondary School, Lang Son City, shared: The exchange activities of drawing love for the Fatherland on Vietnamese conical hats, making pottery, performing arts, lighting campfires, and participating in playing folk games with children from Bang Tuong, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region were very fun.

Through this activity, I want to introduce the cultural and historical values ​​of Lang Son province to students from other sides, helping young people from both sides understand each other.

In particular, on each conical hat - a typical cultural feature of the Vietnamese people, children from both countries expressed their love for the Fatherland and understanding of the culture of the neighboring country with unique and lovely drawings, leaving a poetic and unforgettable feeling in the hearts of viewers.
