Agree on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of 11 Laws on military and national defense

(GLO)- On May 26, the Government issued Resolution No. 151/NQ-CP agreeing on the content of the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of 11 Laws submitted by the Ministry of National Defense.

Accordingly, the Government has agreed on the content of the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on National Defense; Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army; Law on Military Service; Law on Vietnam Border Guard; Law on People's Air Defense; Law on Reserve Forces; Law on Civil Defense; Law on Professional Soldiers, Workers and Civil Defense Officials; Law on Management and Protection of National Defense Works and Military Zones; Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces; Law on National Defense and Security Education submitted by the Ministry of National Defense .

The Minister of National Defense is responsible for receiving comments from Government members and completing the draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on National Defense; Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army; Law on Professional Soldiers, Workers and National Defense Officials; Law on Military Service; Law on Vietnam Border Guard; Law on People's Air Defense; Law on Reserve Forces; Law on Civil Defense; Law on Management and Protection of National Defense Works and Military Zones; Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces; Law on National Defense and Security Education.

At the same time, on behalf of the Government, authorized by the Prime Minister, sign the Government's Submission and related documents submitted to the National Assembly as prescribed.

At the same time, the Minister of National Defense closely coordinates with the agencies of the National Assembly; proactively reports and explains during the examination process, accepts opinions of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the National Assembly on the draft Law in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents and is responsible for the content of the report.
