Some readers reported that construction projects with incorrect construction permits were likely “protected” by Ms. D and a few construction officials.
The Tay Ninh Newspaper has forwarded the petitions from readers to the Tay Ninh City People's Committee for verification and clarification. The local government has affirmed that it will strictly handle officials with negative and degenerate behavior as well as illegal construction works that readers have reported, if there is any basis.
Most recently, readers reported information about a house on Boi Loi Street, Ninh Son Ward, Tay Ninh City that Tay Ninh Newspaper investigated and reported in an article. Accordingly, the City and local Urban Management Department measured the construction site and determined that there were violations.
As for the foundation, although the construction permit area is 60m2, the actual construction area is 80m2 (because the remaining 20m2 is garden land), the construction project according to the granted construction permit has 1 ground floor, 1 first floor but the construction has reached the 2nd floor... This is one of the projects that readers reflect on the work of "Mrs. D".
Mr. Luong Ba Can - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee said that the construction project violating the above license has been administratively sanctioned in accordance with the law. The investor has also completed the procedures to add 20 square meters of urban land to the land use right certificate, which is the same as the area of land violated when constructing the project.
At the same time, the procedure for adjusting the construction permit was carried out and the People's Committee granted the permit on April 20, 2022. Therefore, the project investor's restart of the project is completely legal. Tay Ninh City People's Committee directed the City Urban Management Department and Ninh Son Ward People's Committee to regularly inspect and promptly handle any violations.
In addition, the City will rectify the granting of construction permits for individual houses, manage construction order in the area in a disciplined and orderly manner, and resolutely and strictly handle officials who violate the law.
Regarding officials who have violated the state management of construction order and construction licensing as reported by Tay Ninh Newspaper in October 2022, Tay Ninh City Party Committee is handling them according to regulations and will notify Tay Ninh Newspaper.
