Revoking the Certificate of "Good Manufacturing Practice for Cosmetics" with EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company

The Drug Administration of Vietnam revokes the Certificate of "Good Manufacturing Practice for Cosmetics" No. 53/GCN-QLD issued on January 21, 2025, issued together with Decision No. 53/QD-QLD dated January 21, 2025 of the Director of the Drug Administration of Vietnam on granting the Certificate of compliance with the principles and standards of "Good Manufacturing Practice for Cosmetics" of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (CGMP-ASEAN) to EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company . Factory address: Road No. 6, Giang Dien Industrial Park, Giang Dien Commune, Trang Bom District, Dong Nai Province, Vietnam.

The reason for the recall was determined to be: Non-compliance with the principles and standards of “Good Manufacturing Practice for Cosmetics” of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (CGMP-ASEAN).

This revocation decision takes effect from the date of signing and issuance. Decision No. 53/QD-QLD dated January 21, 2025 of the Director of the Department of Drug Administration on granting the Certificate of compliance with the principles and standards of "Good Manufacturing Practices for Cosmetics" to EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company is no longer valid.

The Drug Administration of Vietnam assigned the Dong Nai Provincial Department of Health to review and inspect the conditions for cosmetics production to revoke the Certificate of Eligibility for Cosmetics Production No. 24/CNĐĐKSXMP-ĐN issued on January 10, 2025 for EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company according to the provisions of Decree No. 93/2016/ND-CP dated July 1, 2016 of the Government regulating the conditions for cosmetics production.

The Drug Administration of Vietnam also requested the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health and the Dong Nai Province Department of Health to implement measures to manage and supervise cosmetic products manufactured before the date the facility's Certificate of Eligibility for Cosmetic Production was revoked; and handle violations according to regulations.

Transfer the violation records of VB Group Trading and Service Company Limited (address: Mezzanine floor of Dai Thanh Binh building, No. 911-913-915-917 Nguyen Trai, Ward 14, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) and EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company (address: Road No. 6, Giang Dien Industrial Park, Giang Dien Commune, Trang Bom District, Dong Nai Province, Vietnam) to the Police Agency for investigation and handling of violations according to authority.
