The case of embezzlement of assets at the 878 Construction and Engineering Joint Stock Company is being completed by the prosecution agency in preparation for trial.

The work of preventing corruption and negativity has been directed and implemented by the Provincial People's Committee with drastic measures to prevent corruption and negativity in agencies and units; focusing on state management in areas prone to negativity and corruption such as: State budget finance, construction investment management, public investment projects and public assets, land use management, staff organization, development and implementation of norms, standards, and regimes.

Inspection agencies at all levels in the province have conducted 8 inspections and checks on the implementation of regulations on norms, standards and regimes at units and localities, thereby discovering 2 violations of regulations on norms, standards and regimes, with a fine of more than 432 million VND.

The whole province has 5,190 people who have declared their assets and income; 100% of the asset and income declarations are made public according to regulations. Based on the direction of asset and income verification of the Government Inspectorate , the Provincial People's Committee has issued a Decision approving the Plan for asset and income verification in 2024 in the province. On that basis, the Provincial Inspectorate has organized a random draw to select 32 people at agencies and units to verify assets and income in 2024.

As a result of the investigation, prosecution, and trial of corruption cases from the beginning of 2024 to present, the two-level Investigation Police Agency has accepted 8 cases/13 defendants; the two-level People's Procuracy has accepted 6 new cases/10 defendants; the Provincial People's Court has accepted one new case/defendant.
