(kontumtv.vn) – On December 4th, the Ministry of Finance announced that total state budget revenue for the first 11 months reached VND 1,808.5 trillion, equivalent to 106.3% of the projected figure, an increase of 16.1% compared to the same period in 2023 (central government budget revenue is estimated at approximately 110.1% of the projected figure; local government budget revenue is estimated at approximately 102.5% of the projected figure).

Regarding state budget expenditures, the estimated figure for the first 11 months reached 73.6% of the projected amount, an increase of 4.7% compared to the same period in 2023. The Ministry of Finance stated that the central budget has spent 24.7 trillion VND from the 2024 contingency fund to supplement funding for national defense and security tasks, support localities in carrying out important, urgent, and unforeseen tasks, and fund disease prevention and control and the restoration of production after natural disasters and epidemics.

In addition, implementing the Prime Minister 's Decision, the Ministry of Finance has released nearly 16,780 tons of national reserve rice to support localities in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, storms, and floods, and to provide relief and food aid to the people.

With little time remaining in 2024, Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang urged agencies and units within the sector to focus on emulation, decisively implement solutions, and strive to achieve the highest possible revenue collection, meeting the expectations of the Party and State leaders.

Regarding budget balance, Minister Nguyen Van Thang stated that the results were relatively good, ensuring a balance between the central and local budgets. Regarding the issuance of government bonds, within their assigned functions and duties, the relevant agencies of the Ministry of Finance should proactively implement measures to successfully complete the planned targets.
