Domestic budget revenue increased by nearly 49% over the same period last year.

BAC NINH - According to the Tax Department of Bac Ninh province, the total domestic budget revenue in the first 7 months of this year reached more than 38.1 trillion VND, equal to 83.2% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, an increase of nearly 49% over the same period last year.

Of this, revenue from land use fees is estimated at over 10.6 trillion VND, exceeding the annual target by 14.6% and tripling compared to the same period last year; revenue from taxes and fees reached nearly 27.5 trillion VND, equivalent to 75.3% of the annual target and nearly 24% higher than the same period last year.

Notably, out of 17 tax revenue items, 4 exceeded the annual forecast: agricultural land use tax; dividend and after-tax profit tax; revenue from public land funds; and other budget revenues.

According to the head of the Bac Ninh Provincial Tax Department, the high increase in provincial budget revenue compared to the same period last year is due to the fact that, from the beginning of this year, based on the assigned budget, the Tax Department assigned revenue targets to its subordinate units and specialized departments, periodically assessed and reviewed revenue collection progress monthly, and promptly resolved difficulties for taxpayers.

In addition, the Bac Ninh Provincial Tax Department is actively reviewing and urging tax collection, implementing comprehensive solutions for tax debt collection; and guiding businesses and individuals to install electronic tax payment software to facilitate tax declaration and implementation.

Many businesses and household enterprises have boldly invested in expanding production scale and increasing revenue, thereby making significant contributions to the state budget.
