In a discussion with Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone , Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that Vietnam always strongly and comprehensively supports Laos's reform process. Vietnam attaches special importance to and gives the highest priority to its relations with Laos, always striving to foster and develop the bilateral relationship sustainably and in depth.

The two Prime Ministers appreciated the completion of many important projects, which have become highlights in the bilateral relationship, including the inauguration ceremony of wharf No. 3 of Vung Ang port, the project to build a database for population management and citizen identification cards, and the preparation for the inauguration of the Friendship Hospital and Friendship Park in Laos.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that the two countries actively coordinate and exchange to implement key projects connecting the two economies , especially in transportation, including highways, railways, energy, as well as trade, investment, training and development of high-quality human resources...

The Lao Prime Minister agreed that the two sides should strengthen and closely coordinate to effectively and timely implement key projects.

The two Prime Ministers agreed to closely coordinate, effectively implement high-level agreements, increase delegation exchanges, and continuously consolidate the special and strong political relationship of trust. The two countries need to strengthen the pillar of cooperation in defense and security; pay special attention and agree to continue to create breakthroughs, raise the level of cooperation, and connect economic, trade, and investment.

Meeting with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet , Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh welcomed new progress in peacefully resolving the Cambodia-Thailand situation, including the signing of a peace agreement.

This agreement creates the basis for the two countries to stabilize the border area and soon resume comprehensive cooperation and connectivity, thereby strengthening trust, moving towards long-term peace and bringing practical benefits to the people.

Regarding bilateral relations, the two leaders agreed to strengthen political trust and promote cooperation mechanisms under the motto of good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation and long-term sustainability. The two countries need to strive to create a breakthrough in economic cooperation, bringing bilateral trade turnover to the target of 20 billion USD soon.

The two sides also agreed to promote local connectivity in a practical and effective manner, promote transport and logistics infrastructure connectivity between the two countries, especially the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai - Bavet - Phnom Penh expressway connection project, and develop border gates and border trade infrastructure.

Vietnam and Cambodia continue to negotiate and resolve remaining issues on border demarcation and marker planting in the spirit of solidarity and friendship.

Meeting with new Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae , Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that Vietnam always considers Japan a top strategic partner and is ready to promote bilateral relations.

Discussing orientations to deepen the Vietnam-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, the two Prime Ministers agreed to promote the effective implementation of commitments and agreements, especially economic cooperation.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh invited Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae to soon pay an official visit to Vietnam. Ms. Takaichi Sanae expressed that she will visit Vietnam at an appropriate time.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh proposed that Japan provide ODA support for Vietnam to implement key infrastructure projects and deploy specific contents within the framework of newly established cooperation pillars in science and technology, high-quality human resource training, digital transformation, green transformation, semiconductors, energy, etc.

Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae affirmed that the Japanese Government always attaches importance to and prioritizes the development of bilateral relations; and is ready to closely coordinate with the Vietnamese Government to promote bilateral relations to new heights.

Meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney , Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh welcomed Canada's foreign policy of increasing engagement with the region through the Indo-Pacific Strategy, creating favorable conditions for the two countries to promote substantive cooperation.

The Prime Minister hopes that Canada will step up cooperation and support Vietnam in areas of strength and need such as aviation, energy, training of civil nuclear engineering experts, and especially providing more scholarships for Vietnamese students.

The two Prime Ministers discussed a number of measures to make economic, trade and investment cooperation an important pillar of the Vietnam-Canada relationship, opening markets, facilitating investment and connecting supply chains in a sustainable and mutually beneficial manner.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has shared personal feelings since visiting Vietnam in 1991. Canada considers Vietnam an important partner in the Indo-Pacific region, a bridge and trade gateway to the region.

He agreed with the specific proposals of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and wished to promote cooperation in the fields of energy, mining, and aviation engineering.

Canada hopes to work with Vietnam to promote the completion of negotiations on the ASEAN-Canada free trade agreement.

Talking with Brazilian President Lula da Silva , Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his delight at the development of Vietnam-Brazil relations since upgrading to a strategic partnership.

The two leaders agreed to further facilitate investment and trade, and open markets for agricultural products. They also agreed to strengthen agricultural cooperation based on the common strengths of the two countries, especially coffee.

President Lula da Silva affirmed that he attaches special importance to relations with Vietnam. He wishes and is determined to further deepen the Vietnam-Brazil strategic partnership, especially in economics and trade, towards the goal of increasing bilateral trade turnover to 15 billion USD by 2030.

Brazil is speeding up internal procedures to soon have an official document recognizing Vietnam's market economy status.
