During the meeting and dialogue, leaders of the advisory and support agencies of the Party Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward implemented several key tasks according to their assigned functions and duties.

The Party Secretary, the head of the hamlet, and the Front Committee of each hamlet gave a brief report on the situation in their respective hamlets after more than three months of implementing the two-tiered local government model. They highlighted difficulties, obstacles, and made recommendations and proposals on many important issues to the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, such as: the need for specific guidance on documents and procedures, and creating favorable conditions for transferring Party membership to new residences; and the need to promptly and effectively resolve issues arising in residential areas as reported by the hamlets.

At the same time, it is proposed that plans be made to review, repair, and upgrade dilapidated roads; replace the lighting system in the area; strengthen the restoration of urban order and public order; assign and deploy security forces at the grassroots level appropriately in each neighborhood; pay attention to policies and benefits for neighborhood group leaders and permanent militia forces working to maintain security and order in the neighborhoods, etc., in order to help them feel secure in their work and successfully complete all assigned tasks.

The opinions and suggestions raised at the dialogue session were acknowledged, compiled, and adequately addressed by the leaders of the Party Committee and People's Committee of the ward; the advisory and support agencies of the Party Committee; and the specialized departments and divisions of the ward.

Secretary of the Long Xuyen Ward Party Committee, Lam Quang Thi, requested that the secretaries, heads of hamlets, and the Fatherland Front committees of each hamlet correctly identify their assigned roles, positions, functions, and tasks, and implement the political tasks of their hamlets according to the principle of "smooth coordination from top to bottom and from side to side"; strengthen the cooperative relationship and support between the ward's specialized departments and between hamlets in carrying out their tasks. Continue to closely monitor the grassroots level, stay close to the people, listen to and promptly reflect the legitimate concerns and aspirations of the people; assist the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward in leading and directing the quick handling of issues, creating consensus among the people…
