During their work at the unit, many QNCN comrades have become shining examples with strong influence, promoting emulation movements to promote initiatives and technical improvements. A typical example is QNCN Captain Ho Trung Hau, an employee of Company 7, Battalion 887. When performing construction tasks at the tunnel dome, encountering weak geology, the construction was very complicated, and the landslide was high, Mr. Hau proposed a plan to use I-shaped steel instead of wooden beams. With this plan, the temporary support system has become more solid, there is no more geological landslide, ensuring safety for the construction organization. Not only that, replacing I-shaped beams with wooden bars also helps save materials for the construction site and speeds up the construction progress by 140%.

Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Van Tho, an employee of Company 5, Battalion 886, during the construction of projects in unfavorable geological conditions, had the initiative to "Improve the formwork system when constructing military tunnels with narrow apertures", contributing to increasing construction progress and saving labor.

The initiatives of Captain Ho Trung Hau, Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Van Tho and many other comrades in the unit have helped ensure progress and quality in the construction of defense works and many other tasks of Brigade 83. The positivity and initiative in all tasks of the Brigade's QNCN team have contributed to promoting the unit's emulation movements more and more deeply, successfully completing assigned tasks, and shining the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers - Navy soldiers.
