At the workshop, experts introduced the application of automation solutions, artificial intelligence and digital twins into production practices to improve operational efficiency, save costs and optimize processes in businesses.
These include: industrial robots, data-driven predictive maintenance, digital twins, and AI-based decision support systems. These are important elements that help shape a smart, sustainable, and digitally ready manufacturing ecosystem.
According to Mr. Alex Lo, CEO of TechSource Systems and Ascendas Systems, technology is the driving factor for sustainable growth in the manufacturing industry. The conference not only helps to improve technical knowledge but also creates opportunities for the business community, engineers and technology innovators in Vietnam to access and test technologies that are changing the global game.

In addition, the conference also introduced the startup support program from MathWorks and Ascendas Systems, providing opportunities to access MATLAB & Simulink with incentives on software, training, and technical consulting. At the same time, sharing success stories in MATLAB & Simulink applications globally, the potential for development and application in Vietnam in the direction of innovation.
Mr. Quach Anh Sen, Deputy Director in charge of SHTP-IC, said that smart manufacturing is not only a technological revolution, but also a vital strategy to enhance competitiveness, adaptability and sustainable development in the new era. Flexible automation, AI in quality control, forecasting and production operations, or IoT and big data applications are opening up breakthrough opportunities for both large enterprises and small and medium-sized factories in Vietnam.
At SHTP-IC, many startups have been developing core technology solutions that can be applied directly to the production line. For these solutions to be widely applied, there needs to be a connection between manufacturing enterprises - technology startups - researchers - investors and management agencies. SHTP-IC commits to continue to be a reliable bridge, supporting technology enterprises and startups to access the production market, search, test and apply advanced and effective solutions.

According to the organizers, the workshop not only provides practical knowledge and tools, but also opens up opportunities for cooperation, learning and development for businesses, experts and startups interested in the field of smart manufacturing, modern and sustainable industry in the digital age. This is a testament to the effort to connect the global technology platform and the innovative startup ecosystem in Vietnam, to promote the digital transformation process in the manufacturing industry.
