Tien Giang: Inauguration of Road D7 Project and Residential Area on Both Sides of the Road

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Vu Huy Giap, General Director of TICCO, said that the D7 Road Project was approved by the Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee in principle for investment; at the same time, the investor was approved in September 2021; the compensation, support and resettlement plan and budget were approved by the My Tho City People's Committee in August 2022; the Tien Giang Provincial Department of Construction granted a construction permit in June 2024; and the Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee approved the policy of transferring land use rights to individuals for self-construction of houses in August 2024.

The project was announced by the Department of Construction that land with technical infrastructure in the real estate project is eligible to transfer land use rights to individuals to build their own houses in December 2024.

The D7 Road and Residential Area Project on both sides of the road has a total investment of 525 billion VND, with a total area of ​​over 61,553 ^m2 , including: Commercial land area of ​​over 22,740 ^m2 ; resettlement land area of ​​over 4,297 ^m2 ; social housing land area of ​​over 7,283 ^m2 ; green land area of ​​over 3,276 ^m2 ; technical infrastructure land area of ​​over 23,955 ^m2 .

The project has 214 adjacent lots; of which 170 are commercial adjacent lots, 7 are villa lots and 37 are resettlement adjacent lots. The project is invested in building a complete and synchronous technical infrastructure system including: Traffic roads; rainwater drainage; wastewater drainage; water supply; electricity supply, lighting; fire prevention and fighting outside the house.

During the project implementation, TICCO has coordinated with local authorities, departments, branches, consulting, design, construction and supervision units to ensure the quality, progress and efficiency of the project. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Vice Chairman of Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Trong, on behalf of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged and highly appreciated the role of TICCO as the investor in implementing this project. TICCO has demonstrated a sense of responsibility, ensuring the quality of the project and progress according to plan.

Road D7 is not only an important traffic route connecting two main roads to the West of My Tho City but also creates a new, spacious and modern urban space.

The completion of Road D7 and the residential area on both sides of the road is of great significance in concretizing the Western Zoning Plan approved by the People's Committee of Tien Giang province.

Thereby, contributing to the completion of the traffic infrastructure system in the West of My Tho City; creating favorable conditions for travel and trade of people in the area. The project helps to form a new residential area, meeting the standards of synchronous technical and social infrastructure, meeting the increasing housing needs of people in the city.

The project also contributes to improving the quality of life, contributing to the socio -economic development of the area; creating valuable land funds, attracting people to invest and do business, contributing to the sustainable socio-economic development of My Tho urban area.

In the coming time, the provincial leaders believe that with the capacity and prestige of TICCO which has been affirmed through projects such as: My Thanh Hung Residential Area, Nguyen Cong Binh Street and residential areas on both sides of the road... the company will continue to accompany the government in developing other urban projects in the future, contributing to the development of My Tho urban area to become more civilized and beautiful.
