“Green Voice” starts season 3, total prize value up to 18 billion VND

(Dan Tri) - The Green Future Fund (Vingroup Corporation) launched season 3 of the "Green Voice" debate contest, with a total prize value of up to 18 billion VND.

This is not only a playground for knowledge, but also contributes to nurturing the young generation of Vietnam to become green citizens - rich in knowledge, courage and a sense of responsibility for the sustainable future of the country and the planet.

“Green Voice” is a typical activity within the framework of the Green Education program, within the cooperation agreement between the Green Future Fund and the Ministry of Education and Training , period 2023-2028.

Continuing the success of the previous two seasons, “Green Voice” season 3 brings a journey to explore global hot issues related to the fields of economy , society, and environment with the goal of spreading sustainable development thinking. The debates are built around 10 key action programs of the Green Future Fund, including: green mobility, green energy, green tourism, green office, green consumption, green lifestyle, green urban, green education, green healthcare and green sports. The programs contribute to comprehensively portraying the picture of a green future for Vietnam and the world.

The contest is open to high school students nationwide. Registration is open from September 15 to October 31. Candidates can register via the website talkgreenfuture.net. The final round is scheduled to take place on January 30-31, 2026 at VinUni University ( Hanoi ).

Contestants can compete individually or in teams (maximum two people), choosing the competition board using Vietnamese or English language.

The competition consists of 4 rounds with the following organization time: Registration round (September 15 - October 31), preliminary round (November 15 - November 30), confrontation round (January 4, 2026 - January 10, 2026) and ranking round (January 30, 2026 - January 31, 2026).

In the registration round, candidates submit a 300-500 word essay explaining the topic (Vietnamese version) or an essay expressing support/opposition to a topic (English version). Teams that pass this round will move on to the preliminary round by submitting a video (maximum 5 minutes) presenting their ideas and opinions on the chosen topic and sending the sharing link to the email address v.talkgreenfuture@foundationforgreenfuture.com.

The confrontation round will take place directly in Hanoi (expected January 4, 2026) and Ho Chi Minh City (expected January 10, 2026).

In the English category, the competition for the first time implemented the British Parliamentary (BP) competition format to select the best teams to enter the ranking round held directly at VinUni University. This is also an innovation in season 3 of the Green Voice competition.

The total prize value of the “Green Voice” contest season 3 is up to nearly 18 billion VND. Each competition group (Vietnamese and English) will have: 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 2 third prizes, 4 consolation prizes, and many attractive secondary prizes.

The first prize for the best team in each category is worth up to 3.3 billion VND, including: a cash prize of 50 million VND, a 100% scholarship for the bachelor's program (applicable to all majors and for 4 years) at VinUni University, a VinFast EVO200 electric motorbike, a vacation at Vinpearl Nha Trang and many other valuable prizes.

In addition to the main prizes for contestants, the program also offers many additional prizes to recognize and encourage active participation from units. Specifically, the school with the highest number of students participating and responding will receive a prize worth 50 million VND.

Similarly, the clubs with the most outstanding participation will be awarded a prize worth 10 million VND. The school with the overall first prize winner in each category will receive a prize worth 100 million VND.

After two seasons, the Green Voice contest attracted nearly 6,000 contestants from hundreds of high schools in 33/34 provinces and cities, proving the appeal and influence of the intellectual playground for students.

Season 3 of the competition continues to be accompanied by sponsors: VinUni University, Vinpearl, Xanh SM and VinWonders.
