Continue to suspend the female Vice Principal of the case of 40 students suspected of poisoning in Quang Tri

TPO - The People's Committee of Kim Ngan Commune (Quang Tri) has just decided to extend the suspension of Ms. Do Thi Hong Hue, Vice Principal of Kim Thuy Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, for another 15 days due to her involvement in the case of 40 students being hospitalized after a boarding meal.

On the afternoon of October 22, the leader of the People's Committee of Kim Ngan commune announced that the unit had issued a decision to continue suspending Ms. Do Thi Hong Hue , Vice Principal of Kim Thuy Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities. The suspension period is 15 days, starting from October 23.

Previously, Ms. Hue - the person in charge of boarding work at the school - was temporarily suspended from work from October 2 to October 22 after 40 students were hospitalized due to suspected food poisoning.

Recently, the school and the People's Committee of Kim Ngan commune held a meeting with 75 parents of boarding students to discuss the reorganization of the kitchen. At the meeting, many parents requested to continue to suspend Ms. Hue until the official investigation results from the authorities.

Previously, test results from the Pasteur Institute in Nha Trang showed that in the braised pomfret meat sample and a student's sample, there were Bacillus cereus bacteria that produce intestinal toxins.

Kim Ngan Commune People's Committee has drawn up a record of administrative violations in the field of food safety against the school and transferred the file to Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee for handling according to authority.
