Continue to innovate content and diversify forms of propaganda for the Vietnam Border Law

On the morning of November 18, the Border Guard Command of Vinh Long province held a conference to summarize 5 years of implementing the Project "Organizing intensive training; propagating and disseminating the Vietnam Border Guard Law and detailed regulations for the period 2021-2025" in the province.

Attending the conference were comrade Tran Minh Trang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, and leaders of departments, branches and sectors.

Over the past 5 years of implementation, the Provincial Border Guard Command has proactively developed plans and directed units to implement them in accordance with the characteristics of each locality. Training and propaganda work has been maintained regularly, contributing to raising legal awareness, consolidating the people's border defense, maintaining political security, social order and safety in the coastal border area; at the same time, strengthening the solidarity relationship between the army and the people.

The province has opened many specialized training courses for reporters and propagandists of the law of departments, branches, armed forces and officials at all levels. Border guards have coordinated with local People's Committees to develop programs suitable for each target group; and promoted propaganda in newspapers and local radio stations. Surveys and assessments of the level of legal knowledge have been conducted systematically, showing that the majority of officials and people understand the basic content of the Vietnam Border Guard Law.

The Provincial People's Committee directed localities to sign coordination regulations with border posts; integrate propaganda into models such as "Border Lessons", "Border Loudspeakers", "Crew Advisory Group", and movements to protect sovereignty and border security. Many programs such as "Border Spring" and "Border March" continued to be effective.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Tran Minh Trang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command acknowledged the efforts of all levels, sectors and the Border Guard force in raising legal awareness for cadres, party members and people in the coastal border area, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety. He suggested that in the coming time, we should continue to innovate content, diversify forms of propaganda; strengthen training of reporters; apply information technology; promote the core role of the Border Guard force in border management and protection.

On this occasion, 24 collectives and individuals were commended for their outstanding achievements in implementing the project for the 2021-2025 period.
