Continue to pay attention to leadership and direction of social policy credit activities

In order to effectively implement Directive No. 39-CT/TW of the Central Party Secretariat on improving the effectiveness of social policy credit in the new period, creating conditions for the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to successfully complete its assigned tasks in the coming time, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies requests the Provincial Party Committee, City Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of the provinces and centrally-run cities to continue to pay attention to social policy credit work. Accordingly, issue documents to lead, direct, organize research, disseminate and coordinate with the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to develop programs, plans, and organize the implementation of Directive No. 39-CT/TW; Continue to strengthen leadership and direction for social policy credit activities, effectively implement Directive No. 39-CT/TW, Decision No. 05/QD-TTg on the Development Strategy of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to 2030. In particular, pay attention to and promptly allocate local budgets entrusted to the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to lend to the poor and other policy beneficiaries, striving to annually account for about 15-20% of the growth in total outstanding credit of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies and by 2030 account for at least 15% of total capital; support facilities, transaction locations, equipment, and working means to improve the operational capacity of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies; organize investigations, reviews, identification, supplementation and confirmation of beneficiaries of social policy credit, as a basis for the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to lend.

In addition, direct relevant departments, branches, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations to coordinate with the VBSP to implement social policy credit programs; provide training, technical support, technology transfer, and product consumption according to the value chain; build and replicate models and typical examples of good production and business, and effective use of loans; continue to conduct propaganda, supervision, and social criticism in the development and implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws on social policy credit. Socio-political organizations continue to perform well the entrusted activities of the VBSP.
