The Department has implemented the collection of public opinions on the list of 07 individuals proposed for consideration for awarding the title on the Provincial Electronic Information Portal. The results showed that there were no comments on the list of 07 individuals.

As a result of community consultation, 7/7 individuals proposed for the title of Meritorious Artisan all achieved a rate of 96% or more in agreement.

At the same time, through reviewing records and comparing according to regulations, 07/07 individuals proposed for consideration for the title "Meritorious Artisan" basically met the conditions and standards.

After listening to the Council members' discussion and comments, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Minh Tri assessed that the proposed individuals all had outstanding achievements and skills, and agreed to submit 07 dossiers to propose the award of the title "Meritorious Artisan" in the field of intangible cultural heritage for the Central Council to consider. He requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to provide more specific instructions so that all dossiers meet the standards.

The title of "Meritorious Artisan" in the field of intangible cultural heritage is awarded to individuals who meet the following criteria: Loyal to the Fatherland; strictly comply with the Party's policies and the State's laws. Possess good moral qualities; be exemplary in life; be dedicated and devoted to the profession; be exemplary in practice and protection of intangible cultural heritage; be recognized and admired by colleagues and the people.

Having outstanding talents or professional skills, typical of the honored intangible cultural heritage type; having great contributions recognized for the cause of protecting and promoting the value of intangible cultural heritage held by the individual, demonstrated in understanding, holding knowledge, secrets, and practical skills about the intangible cultural heritage type .

Having spiritual or material products of historical, cultural, scientific, artistic, aesthetic, technical value, contributing to the protection and enrichment of intangible cultural heritage values, cultural development, socio -economic of the local community . Teaching many individuals who have participated or are participating in the protection and promotion of intangible cultural heritage values.

Have a continuous or cumulative period of operation of 15 years or more related to the protection and promotion of intangible cultural heritage values .
