The Provincial Traffic Safety Committee has just issued a plan to organize activities in response to the " World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims" (TNGT) in 2023.
This year, the province will not organize a rally but will focus on propaganda activities and visits to families of people who died in traffic accidents. Accordingly, propaganda activities will start from October 31 to November 15, 2023 through media publications. Propaganda content: purpose and meaning of the event to commemorate victims of traffic accidents, pain and loss caused by traffic accidents; addresses that need help and social sharing; warnings about risks, causes of traffic accidents, accident prevention measures...

Visiting activities (expected from November 11 to 25, 2023), the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee will coordinate with the Traffic Safety Committees of the districts including: Krong Ana, Cu Kuin, Krong Bong, M'Drak and Ea Sup to review and make a list of families of traffic accident victims in difficult circumstances, policy families, and people with meritorious services to the revolution to support part of the cost, 3 families in each locality.
Through the memorial activities for traffic accident victims, we aim to warn the whole society about traffic accident disasters; raise awareness and consciousness of the whole population in complying with traffic order and safety laws to prevent traffic accidents; raise the sense of responsibility of forces working to ensure traffic order and safety; call for help and sharing from the community about the losses, hardships and difficulties of victims and their families.
It is known that on October 27, 2005, the United Nations General Assembly officially recognized and chose the third Sunday of November every year as the "World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims" globally. In Vietnam, for the first time, the National Traffic Safety Committee launched a plan to respond to the "World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims" on November 19, 2012 and since 2013 it has been held annually nationwide to warn society about traffic accident disasters.
