Emergency situation during Luna-25's transfer to orbit

During the flight of the Luna-25 lunar probe, at 14:10 Moscow time, an impulse was given to return the station to orbit before landing. However, during the operation, an emergency situation arose on the automatic station and did not allow to perform operations with the specified parameters.

Currently the management team experts are analyzing the situation.

The carrier rocket "Soyuz-2.1b" with the automatic station "Luna-25" was launched from the Vostochny cosmodrome at 02:10 Moscow time on August 11.

On August 12 and 14, the spacecraft made two orbital adjustments. On Wednesday, August 16, the station automatically entered lunar orbit.
