General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Cambodian People's Party Hun Sen.

On the occasion of Cambodia's successful organization of the 5th Senate election on February 25, 2024, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Cambodian People's Party Samdech Techo Hun Sen.

The letter's content reads: With the sentiment of comrades and close neighbors, on behalf of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam , I respectfully send to Comrade Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People's Party, leaders, cadres and party members of the Cambodian People's Party, my warm congratulations on the great success of the 5th term election; especially the Cambodian People's Party has won a great victory in this election. The election results once again affirm the role and position of the Cambodian People's Party under the leadership of Comrade.

We firmly believe that, with the achievements that have been made, along with rich experience and the support of the Cambodian people, the Cambodian People's Party led by President Hun Sen will continue to gain many new and greater achievements in the cause of protecting, building and developing Cambodia. Vietnam will continue to do its utmost together with Cambodia to preserve and foster the good Vietnam - Cambodia relationship to develop more deeply, practically and effectively in all fields, bringing benefits to the people of the two countries, contributing to peace , stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
