Here, the General Secretary warmly inquired about and deeply sympathized with the damage and losses caused by floods and hoped that people would overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

The General Secretary encouraged that the Party, the State, organizations, unions and people across the country have always turned to the Central region and Hue city with the spirit of "helping each other", promptly supporting and sharing difficulties with people in flood-hit areas. Forces are focusing on overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and floods, ensuring the safety of people's lives, absolutely not allowing any people to be deprived or isolated without timely support.

The government supports an additional 100 billion VND to help Hue overcome the consequences of floods.

On November 2, the People's Committee of Hue City announced that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had just signed a decision to provide an additional 100 billion VND in emergency support from the central budget reserve in 2025 for the city to overcome damage caused by floods and soon stabilize people's lives.

This funding source is implemented according to the proposal of the Ministry of Finance, to help localities repair infrastructure, support affected households and restore production after floods. The Ministry of Finance is responsible for the accuracy of the data, ensuring the allocation is in accordance with regulations.

Hue City People's Committee is responsible for managing and using capital for the right purposes, publicly and transparently, avoiding loss and reporting the results of use to relevant ministries and branches.

Previously, on October 29, the Prime Minister also decided to support 350 billion VND for three localities heavily affected by the recent floods, of which Hue City received 150 billion VND, Quang Tri and Quang Ngai each received 100 billion VND.

Thus, after two phases, the total amount of government funding to support Hue City to overcome flood damage has reached 250 billion VND.
