Spreading simple but noble deeds According to the program's Organizing Committee, currently all communes across the country have been assigned regular commune police. This team is growing stronger and has made clear changes, contributing significantly to the work of ensuring security and order at the grassroots level and making many worthy contributions to the overall achievements of the People's Public Security force. There have been many examples of brave commune police, resolutely fighting against criminals, ready to sacrifice for the cause of protecting security and order, for a peaceful life for the people. In particular, the commune police force has played an important role in the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic and building the National Population Database; implementing Project 06 of the Government ; building a solid people's security posture in the area. In addition, the deployment of forces to participate in protecting security and order at the grassroots level in coordination with the police force directly managing the area to regularly organize patrols and controls has effectively contributed to the work of preventing, detecting, and fighting crimes, social evils and other violations of security and order. The political art exchange program "Living in the hearts of the people", meeting, praising and honoring exemplary examples of commune and town police and forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level; spreading the simple but noble deeds, typical and outstanding achievements, innovative and creative ways of the commune and town police force and forces protecting security and order at the grassroots level, at the same time expressing gratitude for the attention, support and assistance of ministries, departments, branches, local authorities and people for the commune police force. The program was attended by nearly 300 representatives of the communal police and forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level of 9,000 communes and towns nationwide. Speaking at the program, General Secretary To Lam congratulated and hoped that the commune and town police force would always strive to excellently complete all assigned tasks, worthy of being the "sword", "steel shield" to protect the Party, protect the regime, protect the people right from the grassroots, right from the root of all problems. The General Secretary emphasized that, implementing the Resolution of the 12th Central Committee, the Central Public Security Party Committee has led the police force to be a pioneer and exemplary leader in innovation, streamlining the organization of the political system, operating effectively and efficiently; proposed the Politburo to issue and lead the implementation of the policy of arranging commune-level police, building forces to participate in protecting security and order at the grassroots level. With the correct and practical policy, the commune police force has now changed from a semi-professional force to a regular, important police force in the People's Public Security system. In addition, the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level - "the extended arm of the communal police" is contributing to firmly consolidating the people's security posture and people's security in the localities. The establishment of communal police has made an important contribution to creating positive changes in security and order, together with the entire police force, creating many miracles in the new revolutionary period. Directing the tasks for the coming time, the General Secretary pointed out that, more than ever, the People's Public Security force, including the communal police force, must continue to be exemplary in implementing the Party's policies; continue to take the lead in streamlining the organizational apparatus; soon complete the building of a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern police force. The General Secretary suggested that the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security proactively review and adjust the assignment and decentralization, pay attention to building a strong communal police force, capable of resolving security and order situations at the grassroots level after completing the streamlining of the organizational apparatus. Party committees and organizations at all levels need to focus on training, fostering, and building a team of grassroots public security officers who are both red and specialized, with enough capacity to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation. Provide the best conditions, ensure the implementation of regimes and policies according to regulations, take care to build material and technical potential so that communal police officers and forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level can work with peace of mind, stick to the area, stick to the people, wholeheartedly and devotedly contribute to the cause of protecting security and order, contributing to building and consolidating the beautiful image of the People's Public Security officers "Respecting the people, being close to the people, serving the people". Commune police and forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level need to deeply understand the glorious responsibility in the new revolutionary period that the Party, State and people have trusted and entrusted to them, so that they can strive, constantly learn, improve their knowledge and skills, and rise up to meet the requirements of their tasks.
