On the morning of May 27, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron and his wife visited the Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

The University Council, Board of Directors, lecturers and students of Hanoi University of Science and Technology warmly welcomed Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron and his wife.

At the meeting, the President of the French Republic delivered a speech in the spirit of "France - Vietnam, a common future"; interacted with students; and took photos with staff and students of the Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH, Vietnam - France University) is a public university established in 2009, within the framework of the Intergovernmental Agreement between Vietnam and France, with the orientation of becoming an excellent international university training in science and technology.

The school is affiliated to the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and receives strong support from an alliance of more than 30 prestigious French universities and research organizations in training and research. The school is proud to be a symbol of higher education and research cooperation between Vietnam and France.

Also within the framework of the event, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron attended the ceremony and pressed the button to start the construction of the VNVC Vaccine Production Factory project.

Previously, on May 26, Vietnam Vaccine Company (VNVC) and Sanofi Pharmaceutical Group (France) exchanged documents on cooperation agreement on transferring Sanofi's vaccine production technology under the witness of President Luong Cuong and President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron.
