of Finance , Mr. Nguyen Van Thang from the position of Minister of Transport; approved the proposal to appoint Mr. Nguyen Van Thang as Minister of Finance, and Mr. Tran Hong Minh as Minister of Transport. In addition, the National Assembly also approved the proposal to appoint Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan and Mr. Le Tien as Judges of the Supreme People's Court. “Personnel work was carried out carefully, in line with the Party's direction, with strict processes and procedures according to Party regulations and State laws, ensuring the principles of democratic centralism, publicity, transparency, and achieving a very high level of consensus and unity. According to Mr. Le Quang Tung, with careful and thorough preparation, the National Assembly decided on many important contents such as: Continuing to implement the investment policy of the Ninh Thuan nuclear power project; agreeing on the policy of adjusting the National Land Use Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050; The National Assembly also agreed to adjust the investment policy of the Long Thanh International Airport Project at the proposal of the Government; passing the Resolution on the investment policy of the high-speed railway project on the North - South axis. This is a project of important significance to the development of the country in the new era, aiming to create an important driving force for fast and sustainable
socio-economic development.
Regarding supervision, at the session, the National Assembly spent 2 days questioning the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, the Minister of Health and the Minister of Information and Communications. The questioning session took place in a democratic, lively, democratic and frank atmosphere. The content of the questioning was practical, timely, close to real life, "correct" and "on" the issues of concern.
The 9th session opened on May 20.
