On June 23, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced the benchmark scores for admission to specialized grade 10 and integrated grade 10 in 2025.

How to calculate points for 10th grade specialized entrance

According to the Departmentof Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, the method of calculating the admission score to specialized grade 10 is the total score of literature + foreign language + math + (specialized subject score x 2).

The Department of Education will consider from high to low to recruit enough students for each specialized subject of each school.

If not admitted to specialized grade 10, junior high school graduates in Ho Chi Minh City will be considered for the next 3 registered wishes to enter regular grade 10.

How to calculate integrated grade 10 entrance scores

Admission score for integrated grade 10 = literature score + foreign language score + math score + average score of integrated English program (according to project 5695) grade 9 or integrated English exam score (for candidates who have not studied integrated in junior high school).

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training will consider from high to low to recruit enough students for the integrated English 10th grade assigned to each school.
