Ho Chi Minh City reduces enrollment quota for grade 10 in the 2024-2025 school year

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Departmentof Education and Training, the total enrollment target for grade 10 in the 2024-2025 school year is 71,020 students in 113 public high schools.

Compared to the 2023-2024 school year, there is a decrease of 6,274 targets (in the 2023-2024 school year, Ho Chi Minh City recruited 77,294 public grade 10 targets), while this year the number of grade 9 students increased by more than 5,000 compared to the previous school year.

Specifically, the top high schools have the following public 10th grade enrollment quotas: Bui Thi Xuan High School 745 quotas; Le Quy Don High School 490 quotas; Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School 690 quotas...

As for Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School, the department said it will issue a decision to assign additional enrollment quotas for grade 10 in the 2024-2025 school year to the school after completing the project to separate Tran Dai Nghia Specialized High School.
