Ho Chi Minh City opens the 2nd Diplomatic Friendship Golf Tournament

The 2nd Diplomatic Friendship Golf Tournament in 2025 has the participation of nearly 200 Vietnamese and international guests, with the meaning of strengthening friendship, enhancing exchanges between diplomatic agencies, international organizations, foreign business associations, departments and typical enterprises of Ho Chi Minh City. The event is also a playground for businesses to connect and seek opportunities for cooperation and investment, contributing to the economic development and integration of the City.

This golf tournament also plays a practical role in promoting the golf movement, promoting and developing golf tourism in Ho Chi Minh City. According to the orientation of the Strategy and Master Plan for Vietnam tourism development with a vision to 2030 approved by the Prime Minister, Ho Chi Minh City is identified as the center for exploiting typical tourism products such as MICE tourism (Meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions), weekend entertainment tourism, sports tourism, shopping tourism, etc. In which, golf tourism is an important specialized product, which will receive strong investment in the coming time.

The tournament structure includes 21 prizes, divided into 5 groups based on handicap, including Friendship Group (for Diplomatic Agencies/Consular Corps), Groups A, B, C and Women's Group. Of which, there are 3 Hole in one prizes with attractive prizes such as: Ginseng vase of Ngoc Linh Tumorong Ginseng worth 2.3 billion VND or 1 set of Honma TW767 clubs worth 100 million VND, 1 set of Fourteen clubs worth 130 million VND and other technical prizes.
