Ho Chi Minh City inaugurates 5 new schools worth hundreds of billions of VND.

On September 4th, Ho Chi Minh City inaugurated five new schools in various suburban communes, each costing hundreds of billions of VND.

These are the schools: Dang Thuy Tram Primary School (An Hoi Tay Ward); Dong Den Primary School (Vinh Loc Commune), Nguyen Cuu Phu Primary School (Tan Nhut Commune), Vuon Thom Primary School (Binh Loi Commune), and Binh Loi Secondary School (Binh Loi Commune).

These schools were all newly built, inaugurated, and put into use at the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year, starting on September 5th.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Binh Loi commune, Ho Chi Minh City, will put into operation two new schools: one primary school and one secondary school. These are Binh Loi Secondary School and Vuon Thom Primary School.

These two schools are located next to each other and are well-built, clean, and beautiful, with plenty of classrooms and functional rooms. The two schools, with their red and pink tiled roofs, stand out against the surrounding open land, enhancing their vibrant beauty.

Binh Loi Secondary School was built on a ^24,115m² plot of land with 3 four-story buildings, 45 classrooms, a boarding area, a multi-purpose hall, a cafeteria, a swimming pool, and other facilities,... with a total cost of over 180 billion VND.

Vuon Thom Primary School was built on a ^12,927m² plot of land with 4 blocks of classrooms and functional rooms, 3 stories high. In total, Vuon Thom Primary School has 30 classrooms, a boarding area, a swimming pool, a multi-purpose hall, and other functional rooms. The total cost of construction was 135 billion VND.

These schools are newly built and established from the 2025-2026 school year, so students and teachers will be "shared" from nearby primary and secondary schools such as Le Minh Xuan Primary School, Le Minh Xuan Secondary School, etc.

Mr. Phung Minh Huy Thanh, homeroom teacher of class 7/1 at Binh Loi Secondary School, expressed his joy and excitement at being able to teach in this spacious, clean, and modern school this school year.

"The classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, equipped with modern fans and new desks and chairs… The school also has all the necessary functional rooms for teachers to implement educational activities such as STEM, experiments…"

"Especially with the new school building, the school offers boarding facilities for students. These are favorable conditions for teachers and students to enter the new school year with much creativity in teaching and learning," Mr. Huy Thanh expressed.

Amidst the shared joy of all staff, teachers, and employees at being able to teach and learn in the new school, Ms. Hua Thi Hoan Hao - Principal of Binh Loi Secondary School - expressed her honor and responsibility as the principal of the newly built and established school in a land rich in tradition and gradually laying its first foundations.
