From Nguyen Hue Walking Street, Notre Dame Cathedral, Tan Dinh Church to Pham The Hien Catholic quarters, many areas have been lavishly decorated with LED lights, Christmas trees, miniatures and colorful Christmas models. Not only familiar places, many cafes and shopping centers have also invested heavily in decoration to serve the entertainment and photography needs of people at the end of the year.

Among the prominent destinations this Christmas season, Me Coffee Go Vap branch has become a popular destination for young people. The space of the shop is designed in a classic European style with yellow lights, candles, pine trees and especially the Polar Bear theme with nearly 1,000 bears big and small wearing Christmas costumes.

The shop also organizes snow spraying every day from 9pm to 9:30pm, creating a winter effect right in the middle of Ho Chi Minh City. Mr. Tran The Hien, owner of Me Coffee, said: “We started to build the idea since September. Because we wanted to bring the British Boxing Day spirit into the shop space, we decided to use a lot of gift boxes, combined with yellow and red pine trees, colors that are rare in the Vietnamese market, forcing us to order them from abroad and decorate them ourselves.”

Mr. Hien added: “During the completion process, the restaurant also encountered many difficulties because the large number of customers caused many items to be damaged and had to be constantly repaired. But in return, when the concept was completed, the number of customers increased by several hundred people almost every day, which made us very happy and gave us more motivation to continue to innovate according to the season.”
Mr. Hien said that although the decoration style changes on each occasion, teddy bears are always a unique highlight that the shop maintains to create a warm and close feeling for customers.

Many young people said they were attracted by the pleasant cool air of the last days of the year and the lively decorative corners covering the city. Yen Nhi (living in Phu Giao commune, Ho Chi Minh City) shared: “We just happened to pass by here, saw the decoration space suitable for the Christmas atmosphere so we stopped by. These days the streets are much busier, the lights from coffee shops to shopping malls are bright, everywhere we go we meet happy people, everyone is willing to help each other take pictures. Thanks to that, we feel the Christmas atmosphere is even more lovely.”

Sharing the same feeling, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram (living in Tan Binh ward) said: "Christmas is coming so we want to go out to enjoy the atmosphere. The decorations here are cute, there are many beautiful photo angles, just looking at it is eye-catching."
Ms. Pham Thi Ngan shared: “The slightly chilly morning makes me more excited because it feels like a real Christmas atmosphere. Today, my friends and I came here because we heard the decorations were beautiful. What impressed me the most was the big pine tree with lots of teddy bears and gift boxes around it. Just looking at it makes me want to take a picture right away.”

Not only the new spaces such as coffee shops or Catholic neighborhoods, the Notre Dame Cathedral and Diamond Plaza area has always been a "golden spot" every Christmas season for many years. Notre Dame Cathedral with its classic architecture is lit up by a system of decorative lights and brilliant miniatures, creating a beautiful backdrop for Christmas photo albums.

Right next door, Diamond Plaza stands out with two large pine trees, a Santa Claus model, giant gift boxes and a sparkling LED lighting system. The combination of the ancient beauty of Notre Dame Cathedral and the modern colors of Diamond Plaza makes this place a familiar check-in spot, attracting a large number of tourists and locals every year-end.
Bringing his wife and son to take pictures, Mr. Huynh Tien Thanh (residing in Phu Tho ward) said: "Saigon is beautifully decorated every year, but in this area, the style is a bit Western, a bit Korean, so my family likes to stop by to take pictures. I'm used to bringing a camera, seeing beautiful scenery, recording it to look back at a few years later is also very fun, like keeping each Christmas season of my family."

Throughout the city, from the luxurious buildings in the center to the small shops in the suburbs, the Christmas atmosphere is present in many different styles. For young people, walking around and taking photos is not only to preserve beautiful moments but also a way to enjoy the joy and find a warm feeling during the festive season.
