Vietnam 2023 promises to be a comprehensive destination for the livestock industry.

Livestock is a key sector of Vietnam's agriculture, the industry has always achieved stable growth in recent years, accounting for more than a quarter (27%) of the total GDP contribution of the whole industry in the first half of 2023. In 2022, the Vietnamese livestock industry in particular recorded dynamic development, with profits reaching 21 billion USD, equivalent to a growth rate of 5% to 6% compared to 2021. The remarkable development of Vietnam's socio- economy in recent times has brought many breakthrough opportunities for the livestock industry.

With increasingly active attention and support from the government as well as the development of technology, Vietnam's livestock industry is expected to grow 4% to 5% by 2025 and 3% to 4% in the period from 2026 to 2030.
