Thu Duc City announces the second round of preschool, grade 1, and grade 6 enrollment plans

According to Mr. Nguyen Thai Vinh Nguyen, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City (HCMC), the online enrollment method: The enrollment software system sends a notification to the phone of the student's parents providing the profile code and security code. Parents access the website https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn to enter the profile code and security code to register for their children's admission.

After registration, parents will receive notification of the time to submit paper documents directly to the school. Primary and secondary schools will base on the list of the Thu Duc City Admissions Steering Committee to assign routes to receive students.

The time for the second round of enrollment is as follows: From 9:00 a.m. on July 19: The primary enrollment software will send messages to parents whose children are assigned to the second round.

From July 22 to July 27: The school organizes receiving applications from students assigned to their school.

August 1: Schools announce admission lists for the 2024-2025 school year (results of 2 admission rounds).

2nd round of admission: Students who have not been assigned to the first round of admission and updated on the Education and Training sector database. The Primary Admission Steering Committee will review the school's admission capacity to adjust and arrange accordingly to ensure 100% of students can attend school.

Public primary and secondary schools continue to enroll children on the list of the Primary Admission Steering Committee and whose names are not on the first list.

After 2 admission rounds, if schools still lack the quota compared to the allocation of Thu Duc City People's Committee, the school will send a document proposing additional quota and the additional list must be approved by the Primary Admission Steering Committee.

According to Mr. Nguyen, the structure of the message sent is as follows: "The Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City announces: Student Nguyen Van A has been admitted to school ……. Parents confirm admission at tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn (search for results) and check the application submission schedule on the school's website."

For students entering grade 1 who have not received a message, parents should contact the Ward People's Committee - Education specialist teacher to review, adjust information and update the list (if there is no name in 2 batches).

For students entering grade 6: If you have not received a message, please contact the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City - Admissions Department to review, adjust information and update the list (if there is no name in the 2 batches).

Before the end of enrollment, the school's admissions board will review the cases whose names are on the list but have not yet registered for enrollment, make a list, make a plan, assign personnel to contact and support parents via phone, and notify the ward People's Committee to coordinate verification and mobilization.
