This morning, October 28, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper organized a talk show "From January 1, 2026, how can business households pay taxes conveniently?", discussing major changes in tax policy that are about to take effect.

The program takes place in the context of the Ministry of Finance issuing Decision 3389, approving the Project on converting the model and method of tax management for business households. Accordingly, from January 1, 2026, the form of lump-sum tax collection will officially end, replaced by the mechanism of self-declaration and self-payment of taxes - a strong shift in administrative reform and tax administration.

This change is not simply an improvement in management techniques but also an important boost to help business households become more transparent, have easier access to capital, expand their scale and gradually transition to an enterprise model, contributing to promoting the sustainable development of the private economic sector.

The talkshow focuses on exchanging real stories from businesses in the transition phase, analyzing difficulties, obstacles and support policies from tax authorities and banks, as well as solutions to make the change process go most smoothly.

Guests participating in the program:

- Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Deputy Head of Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department

- Ms. Mai Thi Nghia Le, Head of Personal Tax, Business Household Tax and Other Taxes, Ho Chi Minh City Tax

- Mr. Nguyen Chanh Trung, Deputy Director of Personal Customer Division, Vietnam Bank for Industry and Trade (BVBank)

- Ms. Phan Thi Hong Loan, Owner of 2G coffee business
