Ho Chi Minh City trains innovation for commune-level officials and civil servants

On September 6, the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City opened the first phase of the public sector innovation training program for officials and civil servants of People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones in Ho Chi Minh City.

The training program has the theme "Application of AI in public sector innovation", with the support of Advanced Micro Devices Corporation (AMD) and Sun Edu International Education Joint Stock Company.

The training program aims to help officials and civil servants of People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones understand the steps to integrate Generative AI into public sector innovation activities; help officials and civil servants develop creative thinking, apply Generative AI to solve professional problems, create complete products (text, images, videos ) to serve daily public activities and promote a culture of innovation in the public sector; identify potential risks when using artificial intelligence, thereby using it in a controlled and effective manner.

In September and October 2025, the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City will organize 4 training sessions (each session consists of 4 sessions) for more than 400 officials and civil servants of the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones; thereby contributing to the effective implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation in Ho Chi Minh City.
