At noon on November 8, at the dike and coastal road connecting Loc Ha commune and Co Dam commune, SGGP reporters recorded a series of fishing boats of all capacities bustling in and out of the shore, the boats were filled with large nets, heavy with fresh sea crabs.

Immediately after bringing the net ashore, the fishermen mobilized more manpower, quickly gathered to shake the net, remove the crabs to sell to traders and people. Then, they returned to sea to continue the new fishing trip.

The atmosphere of buying crabs and carrying crab nets from the sea to the shore is very bustling, filled with laughter.

According to some local fishermen, many days ago, due to the impact of heavy rain, floods, strong winds, and rough seas, they had to keep their boats ashore and temporarily stop going out to sea. From early morning on November 8, when the rain and floods had passed, the wind was light, the sea was calm, and the weather was warm and sunny, so fishermen took advantage of the opportunity to let their boats go out to sea, about 2-4 nautical miles from shore to catch seafood.

The boats depart from around 2-4am, after about 4-6 hours of fishing offshore, they collect their nets and luckily, on their first fishing trip after the flood, the fishermen hit a big catch of crabs.
During the day, there are fishing boats that go out to sea 2-3 times, small boats catch about 20-40kg of crab, large boats catch from 70 to more than 100kg, bringing in millions of dong in income for fishermen.

It is known that crabs after being brought from offshore to shore will be sold at prices ranging from 180,000 to 200,000 VND/kg depending on the type.
