Returning over 28 taels of gold and 87 million VND to the person who lost them.

On the morning of November 21st, the police of Tien Phuoc District ( Quang Nam Province ) announced that they had returned lost property to Ms. Ngo Thi Nhi (residing in Hamlet 5, Tien An Commune, Tien Phuoc District).

Earlier, at around 3 PM on November 20th, while traveling on the road from Hamlet 3 to Hamlet 5 (Tien An Commune), Ms. Nguyen Thi Soa (from Hamlet 5, Tien An Commune) found a brown wallet containing 26 gold rings, one gold necklace (totaling 28.5 taels of gold), and 87 million VND in cash.

Additionally, the wallet contained a citizen identification card and a vehicle registration certificate, both bearing the name Ngo Thi Nhi.

As soon as she found the wallet, Ms. Soa took it to the Tien An Commune Police Station to report it and find the owner. The Tien An Commune Police then contacted the owner, Ms. Ngo Thi Nhi, to come and retrieve it.

Reportedly, at the time, Ms. Nhi was carrying money to buy feed for her family's chicken farm. After making the purchase, on her way home, Ms. Nhi unfortunately dropped her belongings.

The Tien An commune police said they are preparing a proposal to send to the commune's People's Committee to commend and praise Ms. Soa's admirable actions.
