Previously, at around 3:00 p.m. on November 20, while traveling on the road from village 3 to village 5 (Tien An commune), Ms. Nguyen Thi Soa (in village 5, Tien An commune) picked up a brown wallet containing 26 gold bars, 1 gold necklace (totaling 28.5 taels of gold) and 87 million VND in cash.
Ms. Soa (right) handed over the property to Ms. Nhi.
In addition, the wallet also contained a CCCD and vehicle registration certificate, both under the name Ngo Thi Nhi.
As soon as she found the wallet, Ms. Soa brought it to Tien An Commune Police to report the loss. Afterwards, Tien An Commune Police contacted the person who dropped it, Ms. Ngo Thi Nhi, to come and claim it.
It is known that at that time, Ms. Nhi took the money to buy bran powder for her family's chicken farm. After buying it, on the way home, Ms. Nhi accidentally dropped her property.
Tien An Commune Police said they are making a proposal to send to the Commune People's Committee to commend and praise Ms. Soa's beautiful actions.
