Accordingly, the SCTV Cup 2025 international 3-cushion carom billiards tournament will take place from May 25 to 31 at Ho Xuan Huong Stadium (District 3, Ho Chi Minh City). The tournament will feature 8 players, including 6 high-quality guest players: Tran Quyet Chien (ranked 3rd in the world , 4-time World Cup champion), Tran Thanh Luc (ranked 5th in the world, 1-time World Cup champion), Tayfun Tasdemir (Turkey, ranked 7th in the world, 2022 world champion), Heo Jung-han (Korea, ranked 8th in the world, 2-time World Cup champion), Kim Jun-tae (Korea, ranked 10th in the world), Bao Phuong Vinh (ranked 15th in the world, 2023 world champion) and the 2 best players of the qualifying round.

Sharing at the tournament launch, player Bao Phuong Vinh said that this is the first time in Vietnam, there is a tournament with an unprecedentedly high prize, in which the prize for the championship title is up to 500 million VND.
