Awarding the 65-year Party membership badge to comrade Le Xuan Tung

Attending and awarding the Party Badge were Politburo members: Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee. Also attending were representatives of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies; Hanoi Party Committee, Tay Ho District Party Committee and the family of comrade Le Xuan Tung.

On behalf of the leaders of the Central Propaganda Department and the Hanoi Party Committee, presenting the Party Badge, presenting flowers and congratulating comrade Le Xuan Tung, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized that the Party Badge is a recognition of the comrade's merits, efforts, and tireless, persistent dedication to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation; is the honor and pride of the comrade himself and his family; as well as of the Party Committee of the Central Propaganda Department and the Party Committee, government and people of Hanoi city.

Comrade Le Xuan Tung was born on February 26, 1936; joined the Party on September 12, 1959; hometown is Son Le commune, Huong Son, Ha Tinh; active in the Party Committee of the Central Propaganda Department.

During 65 years in the Party, in various positions, from lecturer at Hanoi University, Nguyen Ai Quoc High-level Party School, Politburo member in charge of the Party's ideological-cultural and scientific work, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, comrade Le Xuan Tung has always demonstrated the mettle and intelligence of a communist party member loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people; steadfastly applying and creatively developing Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought; steadfastly pursuing the goals of national independence and socialism; steadfastly pursuing the path of innovation; steadfastly upholding the Party's principles.

He is a shining example of learning spirit, dedication, devotion, creativity in work, striving, overcoming all difficulties to excellently complete the tasks entrusted by the Party, State and People.

Up to now, despite his advanced age, he still worries, cares, studies and has valuable and dedicated contributions to the cause of science and technology, education and training, the work of building and rectifying the Party and a clean and strong political system in all aspects, improving the leadership, governing capacity and fighting strength of the Party.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia stated that the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army are joining hands and showing the highest determination and greatest efforts to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; prepare for Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress; and organize important national events in 2025 and 2026. The entire political system is urgently summarizing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Central Executive Committee on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently.

In that context, the Party's propaganda work plays an increasingly important role, aiming to combat and refute erroneous and hostile viewpoints, protect the Party's ideological foundation, contribute to creating unity within the Party, consensus in society, and strengthen the people's trust in the Party and the State.

The example of comrade Le Xuan Tung will be a driving force to encourage and motivate each cadre and party member to constantly strive, contribute, continue to move forward, continue to write glorious pages of history of the propaganda sector, the Party Committee, the government and the people of Hanoi city in the new period, contributing to bringing the country firmly into a new era, the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia expressed his belief that, with his bravery and pure moral qualities; extensive experience, intelligence and broad vision, Comrade Le Xuan Tung will continue to make contributions to the Party's propaganda work, as well as to the cause of building and developing the Capital; contributing to transmitting historical values, revolutionary traditions, ethical values, political ideology and spirit of dedication to the contingent of cadres and Party members.
