Veteran Pham Van Doan is old and weak, so his family's finances are difficult and he cannot afford to repair his house.

On May 14, the Veterans Association of Hai Duong province coordinated to provide VND80 million in support to member Pham Van Doan in Lau Khe village, Hiep Cat commune (Nam Sach) to build a new house. This is the 56th house that the Veterans Association of the province has given to members in difficult circumstances this year.

Veteran Pham Van Doan and his wife are both old, in poor health, and often sick. The house they live in was built a long time ago and is seriously dilapidated, but they have no means to repair it.

The newly built house is about 80 square meters wide, with a construction cost of over 300 million VND. Of which, the Provincial Veterans Association supported 80 million VND. The remaining amount was supported by sectors, commune organizations and clans. The Hiep Cat Commune Veterans Association and the Lau Khe Village Veterans Association supported construction materials worth over 40 million VND.
