On the occasion of the Lunar New Year At Ty - 2025, this morning, January 11, the Association of People with Disabilities, Agent Orange Victims, Support for People with Disabilities and Protection of Children's Rights (PWD, NNDC, BTNKT&BVQTE) of Quang Tri province organized a program to give Tet gifts to PWD, NNDC, and children in especially difficult circumstances in Cam Lo, Gio Linh, Vinh Linh districts and Dong Ha city. At the program, the organizers presented 2,600 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND including cash and necessities; wheelchairs and walkers to disadvantaged people in the above districts and cities.
It is known that, in addition to the above gifts, the Association of PWDs, NNDC, and the Provincial Committee for the Protection of Children and Families mobilized benefactors to give 230 gifts, each worth from 2 to 6.2 million VND, to 105 families of PWDs and NNDC affected by storm No. 6 (October 2024) in the province.
In Dakrong and Huong Hoa districts alone, the Association of the Disabled, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment awarded two more charity houses worth VND80 million each, sponsored by charitable organizations, to families in especially difficult circumstances in Dakrong and Huong Hoa districts.

The Tet gift giving program for the year of the Snake - 2025 was implemented by the Association of the Disabled, the Disabled, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Provincial People's Committee in 9 districts, towns and cities from January 11 to January 14, 2025 with a total value of 1.46 billion VND.
Speaking at the program, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Dao Manh Hung said that in recent times, local authorities and organizations, including the Association of the Disabled, the Association of the Disabled, and the Provincial People's Committee for the Protection of the Disabled, have always made efforts to care for the lives of the disadvantaged in the province.
