At the final round, 20 groups shared their initiatives towards the environment, community and sustainable development that they have been nurturing over the past time. According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, the highlight of this year's program is the diversity of the projects in the Top 20, from ideas related to daily life such as collecting trash, recycling old toys, to utilizing and transforming commonly available materials such as straw, coffee grounds, pineapple peels, banana leaves into new products and solutions; and developing mobile applications for a green lifestyle. In particular, many projects were assessed by the Jury as truly "Gen Z-like", applying artificial intelligence (AI) or "gamification" to optimize effectiveness for the community.
In addition, the pitching session to present and defend ideas between groups with the judges - experienced experts in many different fields, helped young people broaden their perspectives and increase their awareness of important factors in project implementation such as practicality, replicability, finance, etc.
"Despite different approaches to the problem or forms of expression, all initiatives participating in the final round share the same goal of promoting the circular economy and contributing to carbon neutrality. This is also the theme of "Green circulation, rapid carbon reduction" that the program aims to achieve in season three of "Gen G Ambassador". ", the representative of the Organizing Committee shared.
In its third year, the “Gen G Ambassador” program received nearly 400 green initiatives, proposed by more than 270 youth groups across the country, including many students from leading universities such as Hanoi National University, National Economics University, Foreign Trade University,FPT University... That shows the attraction not only for young people who want to act and spread positive energy to the community, but also a practical activity to cultivate and train the young generation for schools.
The program has accompanied and helped to perfect the initiatives, through training sessions, useful sharing from experts on how to transform ideas into solutions, build development roadmaps, and implement projects. In addition, a field trip to two Panasonic factories in Vietnam in Binh Duong and Hung Yen has provided an opportunity for young people to better understand how circular economy initiatives, neutralizing CO2 emissions are implemented in the modern production and operation processes of the factory, related R&D activities, and technological improvements, in the roadmap to realizing the Panasonic Green Impact commitment.

The GypFoam project team, one of the Top 5 projects, shared: “What makes me happiest is knowing that my idea has been recognized by the judges as a solution that brings sustainable value to the community. The financial and professional support from Panasonic has helped our team improve the quality and speed up the production process. More importantly, we have been strengthened in our belief that we can spread our products in the green and innovative network of the country in the future.”
Journalist Do Doan Hoang, a member of the jury, shared: “This is a very humane and community-oriented program, connecting the young generation with environmental issues. The initiatives proposed by young people are highly convincing, from simple ideas in daily life to ideas that can bring greater impact to the community. After listening to the presentations and debates, and Q&A with the project groups, the jury recognized the practicality of the initiatives. Not only that, you have considered the cooperation with businesses and authorities to implement the ideas. Through this, I feel more confident in young people, and more optimistic about the contributions of the young generation to Vietnamese society in the future.”
“Gen G Ambassador” is an initiative launched by Panasonic Vietnam, aiming to promote the participation of young people in the green living journey and support youth initiatives for the environment in Vietnam. After 2 successful seasons with enthusiastic participation from many young people across the country, this year, Panasonic Vietnam cooperated with the professional unit, the Green Development Support Center - GreenHub, to implement the program with the message “Green circulation - Rapid carbon reduction”, focusing on two topics: circular economy and carbon neutrality.
