The program brought practical and meaningful gifts, contributing to sharing difficulties and spreading humanity to the land that suffered many losses due to war. The total cost of the program was up to 310 million VND from the funding source of the Vietnam Association for Support in Overcoming Consequences of Bombs and Mines and socialized sources.

Of which, 45 mine victims were supported with livelihoods of 6 million VND/person to help improve their lives and develop their family economy ; 22 bicycles (each worth 2 million VND) were given to disadvantaged students, children of families with preferential policies and mine victims, to help them have more convenience on their way to school.

Depending on actual conditions, the victims have chosen suitable livelihood models: in Huong Khe, they raise buffalo, cows, and chickens; in Can Loc, they buy crops, livestock such as ducks, geese, pigs, etc., and production tools.

Not only providing material support, the program also promotes propaganda to prevent bomb and mine accidents in the community. The Departmentof Education and Training of the two districts coordinates to organize extensive propaganda to the people and students, contributing to raising awareness of the risks from explosives left over from the war, minimizing risks, especially among the younger generation.

Speaking at the program, Lieutenant General Pham Ngoc Khoa, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Association for Support in Overcoming the Consequences of Bombs and Mines, Vice President of Hoa Hoa Binh Fund emphasized: "Huong Khe is the locality with the highest number of bomb and mine victims in Ha Tinh province. We hope that each citizen will become an active propagandist, contributing to minimizing bomb and mine accidents, helping people have a peaceful and developed life."

The program is not only a simple support activity but also a profound humanitarian message, demonstrating the concern of the whole society for the less fortunate, giving them more confidence to rise up in life, together building a peaceful, safe and sustainable future.
