Attending and witnessing the awarding ceremony were comrades: Tran Thi My Hanh, Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Culture & Sports; Tran Quang Hoa, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee, leaders of the Propaganda Department of Nam Dan District Party Committee, the Leadership Board of Kim Lien Relic Site, the Leadership Board of Hoang Thi Loan Textile Joint Stock Company and Mr. Nguyen To Canh - author of the 4 paintings.
Hoang Thi Loan Textile Joint Stock Company is an enterprise that is honored to be named after the mother of President Ho Chi Minh, established on May 19, 1990. To express gratitude to Uncle Ho and his family members, former Party Secretary and former General Director of Hoang Thi Loan Textile Company Nguyen To Canh sketched a portrait of Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac - Uncle Ho's father, Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - Uncle Ho's mother, along with his brother and sister.
For the painting of Uncle Ho's father, the author referred to the French photo of Nguyen Sinh Sac's identity card in 1923 to restore the current color painting. For Uncle Ho's mother, until her death in 1933, Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan did not have the original photo, the paintings of Uncle Ho's mother were drawn from the image of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh - her daughter and Mrs. Hoang Thi An, her younger sister. The author restored the color painting to be more accurate to the age of 33 when his mother passed away.
The remaining two paintings depict Mr. Nguyen Sinh Khiem, Uncle Ho's older brother, and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh, Uncle Ho's older sister. The author based the paintings on black and white photos taken in 1946 when the elders visited their younger brother - President Ho Chi Minh in Hanoi.
The restoration of the paintings of President Ho Chi Minh's relatives and their donation to Kim Lien Relic Site has an important meaning, containing the respect and deep gratitude of the author as well as the cadres, party members and employees of Hoang Thi Loan Textile Joint Stock Company towards Uncle Ho and his relatives.
On this occasion, responding to the Appeal Letter of the Provincial Party Secretary to help the poor on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, the Company's leaders and the Trade Union directly presented 40 gifts worth 20 million VND to families in difficult circumstances in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district./.
