BDK.VN - The Provincial People's Committee has just announced the hanging of the national flag and the holidays on Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, Victory Day April 30 and International Labor Day May 1.

Accordingly, on Hung King's death anniversary (10th day of the third lunar month), cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers will have one day off on Monday, April 7, 2025.

On Victory Day April 30 and International Labor Day May 1, officials, civil servants, public employees and employees of state administrative agencies and public service units (hereinafter referred to as civil servants and public employees) will have their working days changed from Friday (May 2, 2025) to Saturday (April 26, 2025). Thus, on the occasion of Victory Day April 30 and International Labor Day May 1, 2025, civil servants and public employees will have 5 consecutive days off from Wednesday, April 30 to Sunday, May 4, 2025 (working as a compensatory day on Saturday, April 26, 2025).

Agencies and units implementing the above holiday schedule must arrange their departments to work reasonably to handle continuous work, ensuring good service to the organization and the people. In particular, it is important to assign officers and civil servants to be on duty to handle sudden and unexpected work that may occur. Agencies and units that do not implement a fixed holiday schedule on Saturdays and Sundays every week must base on the specific program and plan of the unit to arrange a suitable holiday schedule, in accordance with the provisions of law.

Encourage employers at enterprises to apply the holiday time for Victory Day April 30 and International Labor Day May 1, 2025 for employees as prescribed for civil servants and public employees, but ensure full implementation of the regimes for employees according to the provisions of law, and encourage more favorable agreements for employees.

Implement the hanging of the national flag at the offices of administrative agencies, public service units, party agencies, unions, enterprises, economic establishments, schools, hospitals, companies, factories and households throughout the province. On the anniversary of Hung Kings, the national flag will be hung from 5:00 p.m. on April 6 to 7, 2025. On Victory Day, April 30 and International Labor Day, May 1, the national flag will be hung from 5:00 p.m. on April 29 to 1, May 2025.

The local government seriously reminds households in the area to hang the national flag in accordance with current regulations; replace all old, torn, and faded flags with new ones to create a beautiful and respectful appearance. At the same time, clean up agencies, streets, and hamlets; arrange decorative banners and slogans according to the instructions of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

During the holidays, heads of agencies and units; Chairmen of People's Committees of districts and cities must arrange leaders and cadres, civil servants and public employees to be on duty during the holidays to promptly resolve urgent issues, especially regarding security and order; fire prevention and fighting, safety of agencies, units and public entertainment areas; arrange working departments reasonably to handle continuous work, ensuring good service to organizations and people. At the same time, be responsible for directing, urging and reminding subordinate units and coordinating with organizations to mobilize people to properly implement the content of this notice.
