Strive to reach over 98%

Along with the efforts of the provincial Social Insurance, in recent times, the People's Committee of Tri Ton district has focused on leading and directing departments, branches, district Social Insurance and communes and towns to expand the number of insurance participants; resolve insurance regimes and policies quickly and conveniently, ensuring the rights of participants and beneficiaries; strengthen inspection and supervision of compliance with the law on social insurance... As a result, in 2024, the rate of people participating in health insurance reached 98.3%, exceeding the Resolution of the District People's Council.

Support health insurance cards for households in difficult circumstances

In 2025, Tri Ton district strives to complete the roadmap for universal health insurance; strengthen the application of information technology in management work in the direction of reducing time and costs, ensuring the rights and legitimate interests of participants. Protect the health of people with health insurance cards in the direction of fairness, efficiency, quality, sustainable development and no one is left behind. Accordingly, the People's Committee of Tri Ton district sets the target of 100% of communes under the New Rural Program, Advanced New Rural Program and communes in the roadmap for recognition to meet the target of the rate of people participating in health insurance according to regulations. Focus on developing 130,408 people to participate in health insurance (permanent population 115,852 people, non-permanent population 14,556 people), health insurance coverage reaches 98.3% of the population. In addition, develop 2,527 people to participate in voluntary social insurance (newly developed 1,207 people).

Strengthen extensive propaganda

To achieve the above objectives, the People's Committee of Tri Ton district directs the district Social Insurance, departments, branches, unions; communes and towns to strengthen leadership in implementing the law on health insurance. In particular, promote propaganda of the meaning and importance; disseminate the law on social insurance and health insurance in the entire political system and the people. Propaganda work must be in accordance with the motto "regularly and continuously". In particular, focus on groups with low participation rates, such as: Enterprises, companies, production establishments, individual business households, households... Relevant units focus on improving the quality of health insurance examination and treatment; administrative reform; application of information technology in health insurance examination and treatment, settlement of health insurance. Ensure high-quality human resources, improve medical ethics, service quality to care for, protect and improve people's health in the new situation. On the other hand, deploy and replicate the model of exemplary party members and cadres to mobilize and support relatives to participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance; Commend and reward organizations and individuals with good and effective models and methods in mobilizing people to participate in insurance.

Health insurance is a policy of important social security significance, aiming to ensure fairness in health care for the people. At the same time, it demonstrates humanity in sharing between the healthy and the sick, the rich and the poor, the working-age people with children and the elderly. Tri Ton district will continue to make efforts to expand the number of insurance participants, so that more and more people can benefit from this policy.

Tri Ton district is aiming to increase the coverage rate of social insurance and health insurance for different groups of subjects (compulsory social insurance, voluntary social insurance, health insurance) through propaganda and mobilization measures; interdisciplinary inspections... Thereby, changing the awareness of business leaders about the benefits of insurance for employees and people. Mobilizing and persuading organizations, individuals, and philanthropists to do charity work to donate voluntary social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances and with unstable incomes, so that people can be guaranteed social security in old age.
