On the afternoon of August 11th, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh - Head of the Steering Committee for the Exhibition of National Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2nd, 1945 - September 2nd, 2025) - chaired a meeting to review the work related to the construction of booths of participating units at the Vietnam National Exhibition.

Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, Head of the Steering Committee for the Exhibition of National Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, chaired the meeting on the afternoon of August 11th.
Attending the meeting were Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong, representatives from the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Construction , the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and other relevant units.
At the meeting, representatives from various units reported on the progress of booth construction at the Exhibition, presented difficulties and obstacles, and offered suggestions and recommendations.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh emphasized that the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day is very important, reflecting the country's socio-economic achievements after 80 years, especially after 40 years of renovation.
The exhibition must highlight achievements, affirm the country's foundation, position and prestige, not only serving the domestic people but also promoting it to international friends.
At the same time, the Exhibition is also an opportunity for ministries, localities and businesses to introduce their achievements and potentials and seek cooperation opportunities.

Emphasizing that the preparation time for the exhibition is very short while there is still much work to be done, the Deputy Prime Minister requested that the units expedite construction. Units that have already started construction should try to complete it by August 15th, while those that have not yet started construction must do so urgently, no later than August 12th, and the basic framework must be formed before August 15th.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested that ministries and agencies expedite and provide maximum support for construction units. Construction should continue day and night to ensure progress. Coordination among ministries and agencies is essential for efficiency. The Ministry of Construction is responsible for construction matters, while the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is responsible for professional assessment... and ensuring a good working environment.
