On October 31, information from the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police, the unit has just coordinated with the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Hanoi City Police, Hanoi City Customs Department and Quynh Luu District Police (Nghe An) to arrest Nguyen Van Ba ​​(born in 1993), residing in Quynh Giang Commune, Quynh Luu District, Nghe An Province while transporting drugs.

Previously, Nguyen Van Ba ​​was the recipient of 16 packages containing synthetic drugs sent from Europe to Hanoi via Noi Bai International Airport and then transferred to Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province.

Evidence of the case

At around 1:00 p.m. on October 25, the joint forces caught Nguyen Van Ba ​​red-handed, when he had just received the "goods" and left them on a three-wheeled vehicle preparing to leave the ticket office of a transport company in Cau Giat town, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province.

During the arrest, Nguyen Van Ba ​​fiercely resisted and tried to turn the car around and run away, but the police successfully controlled and arrested him.

Searching the person and vehicle, the authorities discovered 9.3 kg of ketamine disguised in 16 packages of milk. Searching the residence, the authorities seized an additional 600 synthetic drug pills.

Nguyen Van Ba ​​confessed that the drugs were sent to him by a Vietnamese man living in Europe for consumption. It is known that Nguyen Van Ba ​​had a previous conviction for “violating regulations on wildlife”.

Currently, the case is being further investigated and expanded for handling according to the provisions of law.
