President of the Senate of the Czech Republic begins official visit to Vietnam

Today (November 18), President of the Senate of the Czech Republic Milos Vystrcil began an official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of President of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tran Thanh Man.

Mr. Milos Vystrcil was born on August 10, 1960, in Dačice, Czech Republic; graduated in mathematics and physics from Masaryk University, Czech Republic. He was Vice Principal of Otokar Březina High School in the period 1992-1998, Mayor of Telč City in the period 1998-2001, Governor of Vysočina Province in the period 2004-2008, lecturer at the Polytechnic University in Jihlava in the period 2008-2009, Senator of the 52-Jihlava district in the period 2010-2014, Vice Chairman of the Civic Democratic Party (ODS) and Chairman of the Senators' Club of the ODS Party in the period 2014-2022. From 2020 to present, he is the President of the Senate of the Czech Republic.
