The exercise content is divided into 3 phases: Phase 1: Moving armed forces into combat readiness states, moving localities into defense states. Phase 2: Organizing preparations for defensive operations. Phase 3: Practicing defensive operations.
Organizing defense zone drills is important, aiming to continue to thoroughly grasp the Party's leadership viewpoints and principles in activities, construction and operations in defense zones, especially building military posture in defense zones.
District Party Secretary, Head of the Steering Committee for the defense zone exercise Le Van Tuan delivered the opening speech.
Through the exercise, the awareness of the armed forces, cadres, party members and people in the district on building a national defense, building a solid defense zone has been raised; the management capacity of local Party committees and authorities and the advisory role of the military, police and departments, branches and organizations have been continuously improved. In particular, the role and responsibility of all levels and branches in the task of advising on the construction and operation in the defense zone, building a national defense posture associated with the people's security posture in the new situation has been raised.
District leaders awarded certificates of merit to groups and individuals who had excellently completed their tasks in the exercise.
The 2024 Trieu Son district defense area exercise ended with absolute safety for people, weapons, equipment and vehicles, which was recognized and highly appreciated by the Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command. The Chairman of the District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 12 groups and 28 individuals who had excellently completed the exercise tasks.
