On the morning of May 30, continuing the 7th session, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Secretary General of the National Assembly Bui Van Cuong presented a report on the National Assembly's proposed supervision program for 2025.
According to the Secretary General of the National Assembly, in 2024, the National Assembly will conduct thematic supervision on "Implementation of policies and laws on real estate market management and social housing development" immediately after the Law on Real Estate Business (amended) and the Law on Housing (amended) are passed to contribute to bringing these laws into life soon.
Besides, the vote of confidence is conducted carefully, seriously and in accordance with the law.
The results of the vote of confidence help those who are voted to clearly see their level of trust so that they can have a direction to continue training, improve their capacity and work efficiency, and strive to better fulfill the important responsibilities entrusted to them by the Party, the people, and the National Assembly.
At the same time, this is also an important information channel for competent authorities to review and evaluate cadres.
For the first time, the National Assembly held a discussion in the hall on the report on the results of monitoring the settlement of voters' petitions. At the same time, for the first time in this term, the National Assembly discussed the report on the results of receiving citizens, handling petitions and supervising the settlement of complaints and denunciations sent to the National Assembly by citizens.

To ensure the quality and feasibility of the 2025 supervision program, the National Assembly Standing Committee will submit to the National Assembly for consideration and decision on supreme supervision of one topic at the 10th Session and the National Assembly Standing Committee will conduct supervision of one topic at the August 2025 meeting.
Accordingly, based on the proposals of the agencies, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly directed the Secretary General of the National Assembly to synthesize into 10 groups according to the areas of responsibility of the Ethnic Council and the Committees of the National Assembly.
At the same time, based on the selection criteria as well as through studying voters' recommendations, reviewing newspapers and reviewing implemented contents, balancing fields and practical situations, the selection of monitoring topics was carried out according to a strict process.
