In the first 6 months of 2025, although many important tasks had to be carried out at the same time, especially those related to the arrangement of commune-level administrative units, the construction of a 2-level local government, the merger of agencies and units, and the streamlining of staff, etc., the work of receiving citizens and handling complaints and denunciations was always of interest to all levels and sectors of Nghe An province.
The reception of citizens by heads of state administrative agencies at all levels has received attention and positive changes. Sectors and localities continue to apply information technology, use the National Database System software on complaints and denunciations and other software in the work of receiving citizens, processing petitions and letters, and monitoring and summarizing the results of handling complaints and denunciations.
All levels and sectors have promoted responsibility, promptly led and directed the settlement of citizens' complaints and denunciations as soon as they arise at the grassroots level, thereby limiting public frustration; at the same time, paid attention to and directed the effective settlement of complicated and prolonged complaints and denunciations.
In the first 6 months of 2025, the whole province organized 37 classes, with 3,919 people participating in training, propaganda, and legaleducation on citizen reception, handling complaints and denunciations, and preventing and combating corruption.
State administrative agencies at all levels in the province received 1,970 people, with 2,274 citizens coming to make complaints, denunciations, recommendations, and reflections, down 33.1% over the same period in 2024; the number of complaints, denunciations, recommendations, reflections, and land disputes received was 4,765, down 0.8%, of which the number of petitions eligible for processing was 4,248, down 0.8% over the same period in 2024; the number of complaints and denunciations arising during the period was 131 cases, down 34.5% over the same period in 2024.
Of which, State administrative agencies have resolved 118/131 complaints and denunciations (reaching a rate of 90%), the remaining 13 cases are under inspection, verification and resolution according to regulations.
In addition, the Provincial People's Committee has advised the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to issue a Direction Plan and establish a Steering Working Group to resolve 5 complicated, prolonged, and over-level complaints and denunciations to the Central Government according to the direction.
